About Prof. Ben-hur
Professor Herzel Ben Hur is an Obstetrics and Gynecology specialist and senior Gynecological and Gyneco-oncological surgeon at the Assaf Harofeh Hospital and in Clalit Health services.
Professor Ben-Hur also performs Gynecological operations and procedures in hospitals in the private sector such as Asuta hospitals, Hertzliya Medical Center, Meirav, Lanyado, and more. Available to all health insurances and national health care( Meuhedet, Maccabi, and Leumit).
Professor Ben-Hur graduated The Sackler Faculty of medicine in Tel-Aviv University, where today he is a senior instructor and teacher. Formally a senior lecturer in The Faculty of Medicine in The Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
In 2001 he founded L.E.M- Early Detection Laboratory that provides pathological diagnosis, specializing in Cervical tests.
He is a member of several professional medical associations amongst them, The Israeli Medical Association, Obstetrics and Gynecology Association, Laparoscopic and Cervical Association, and others.
During the years, he has taken part and published over 140 academic papers of medical research, many of them regarding cancer research. Professor Ben Hur participates in conferences in Israel and Europe, and in his work he integrates years of experience with updated medical developments and innovations.
Professor Ben-Hur emphasizes the importance of treating his patients as a whole person, and in the importance of a secure and confident feeling on the path to recovery.
